Our Story
It started at 2am, in an emergency vet waiting room.
Our founder's cat had blocked up, and the bill came to over five thousand dollars. Sitting there that night, scared and guilty, he kept turning over the same question. Had he done enough to keep his cat healthy?
When they finally got home, he looked at the plastic fountain he'd bought to help his cat drink more. There was a pink film creeping around the waterline. The pump was coated in a grime he could never fully scrub out. The thing he'd trusted to keep his cat hydrated had quietly become something his cat was avoiding.
That was the night the idea for the Zero Pore Cat Fountain began.
He went looking for a fountain built the way one actually should be. Not cheap plastic that scratches and traps bacteria, but a material that gives slime nowhere to live. The answer was surgical-grade stainless steel. Non-porous, dishwasher-safe, and genuinely clean. So he built the fountain he wished he'd had that night, and called the idea behind it the Zero-Pore system.
